Benihana seeks a guest centric,collaborative solution-seeking Kaizen Project Specialistresponsible for researching, analyzing, aligning and support various initiatives.
Lead and support in development of growth opportunities and productivity initiatives.
Partner with subject matter experts to identify opportunities for Kaizen improvement.
Identify and own the field ready process for continuous improvement.
Research best practices both internal, external and advises on feasibility and implementation challenges.
Assist Senior Director of Kaizen Operations in the preparation and review of Kaizen initiatives.
Responsible for piloting, testing and rolling out key productivity initiatives.
Responsible for maintaining and tracking projects.
Lead and act as mentor for training and enhancement of BOH administration process.
Work closely with the Training Department.
Actively engage in Cross-Collaboration meeting with other departments.
Coordinate and actively participate in team meetings, conference calls, webinar or workshops.
Exemplify the desired culture and mission statement of the organization.
Ability to create courses and utilize the LMS.
Microsoft Suite computer skills required. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Must be able to travel 25% of the time.
Other duties assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, human resources, business management or training related fields.
A combination of work-experience, education and other relevant work experience will be considered as substitute for above education and experience requirements.
At least five years of experience in a restaurant setting is preferred.
